Amber was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  She splits her time between LA and the high desert.  Her large scale portraits capture a melancholic beauty, with a twinge of funky mysteriousness.  She finds inspiration in graffiti and in the artistic creations of her three young children.  Amber often collaborates on paintings with her musician husband under the pseudonym, Matson Ambroise.
